The painting in our page header is by Haverfordwest artist Anthony Steele-Morgan. Its title is "News from the Balkans". It was chosen as our emblem because it is so evocative of the horror of the war in Kosovo from which the inspiration for the founding of Christian Rebuild grew.

Projects - Help to Holocaust Victims in Hungary

The Habbakuk Trust brings aid to disabled Jewish holocaust concentration camp survivors in Hungary. Its administrator, John Piercy, writes:

“Not only do we take vital aid, we also befriend these precious, dear, old Jewish people who are lonely, frail, sick and disabled and we also pray for them and encourage them by showing that somebody really cares. This is of vital importance and we feel privileged to work in the Lord with these Jewish folk who are generally ignored and forgotten. Please would you pray for them too.”

Our pictures show the administrator and his wife delivering goods to Hungary and with some of the elderly people whom they help.

All the 320 patients in the hospital have suffered in concentration camps.
Most have lost all their relatives and families long ago in the Holocaust.

Christian Rebuild has been happy to be associated with the help given by the Habbakuk Trust.

In order to be able to continue our work and support more projects, we need donations. Details of how you can donate can be found on our donations page.
